Hi friends! I’m so glad you found your way here to my little corner of the internet where faith, flour, and freedom come together in the most beautiful ways.
My Story
Fifteen years ago, I started praying for something that felt impossible, the freedom to explore God’s beautiful creation in a home on wheels. Fifteen years of praying, hoping, dreaming, and waiting. When we finally found our motorhome last year, we lovingly named him Ishmael, which means “answered prayers.” In that moment, I understood in a profound way that God’s timing is always perfect, even when we can’t see the bigger picture.
The Mission
Last year I embarked on what some might call a crazy mission: to visit all the Oregon state parks. So far, I’ve experienced 8 incredible places, each one teaching me something new about God’s creativity and faithfulness. Sometimes I travel solo with my faithful dog Ruby, sometimes my son Matthew joins the adventure, and sometimes we bring friends along for the ride. Every trip is different, every park unique, and every experience adds another layer to this beautiful journey.

Faith Moments How God shows up in campgrounds, kitchens, and everyday moments. The lessons learned on quiet morning walks and the prayers whispered over morning coffee with a view.
RV Kitchen Adventures Baking has been my love language for years, but now I’m learning to translate that passion into the tiny kitchen of an RV. Expect to read about both my victories and my spectacular fails as I figure out how to make bread rise at altitude and prevent cookies from sliding off the counter while driving down the highway.
Freedom Found Stories from the open road, state park reviews, and the honest truth about RV life, the joys, the challenges, the learning curve, and the moments that make it all worthwhile.
Real Life – The unexpected wisdom that comes from stepping outside your comfort zone, the beauty of answered prayers, and the reminder that God’s best adventures often begin when we say yes to something that scares us a little.
An Invitation
I’m not an expert at any of this, not at RV life, not at visiting every state park, and definitely not at baking in a tiny oven that has a mind of its own. I’m just someone who loves God, loves creating delicious things, and loves exploring the incredible Pacific Northwest.
What I can promise you is authenticity. The real stories, the messy moments, the spectacular sunrises, and the spectacular kitchen failures. Life is beautifully imperfect, and I believe there’s joy to be found in sharing that reality with others.
